The Benefits Analyst reports directly to the Benefits Manager and provides analytical and other professional level support to the benefits function. The Analyst supports the Manager and Director in the development, implementation and administration of the benefits program including plan audits, regulatory reporting, program and system set-up and program analysis/reporting.
What You’ll Do
Supports Benefits Manager in the daily administration and maintenance of company benefits programs
Performs required duties for annual plan audits, 5500 coordination, compliance testing and any additional regulatory reporting requirements
Assists in the facilitation of the employee annual enrollment process including system and plan set-up, testing of the online enrollment system, communications, and training
Analyzes plan performance and provides relevant analytical reports as it relates to program participation
Audits data to ensure data flow for accurate transmission of benefits related data (retirement and H&W benefit enrollment elections)
Creates and refines process documentation ensuring consistent, efficient and accurate program administration
Ensures timely, accurate, and appropriate execution of benefit related projects and issues as needed
What You’ll Need
Minimum 3 years work experience required in human resources. This could include a combination of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, compensation, or labor relations
HR, Benefits, and Payroll business knowledge is required
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors regarding account information
Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
Customer service mindset that allows for a consultative approach to internal clients
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Your Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
