Commercial Tire began in 1968 dealing mostly with commercial and agricultural applications. As the market changed and the company grew so did the needs of our customers. Our retail customers requested more service support while our commercial customers were looking for ways to make their operations more effective and profitable. We were happy to help by stepping up to the plate and truly living up to our motto, “Big or small, we service them all!”
In 2019, Commercial Tire was excited to become Employee Owned putting the power in the hands of our people. This exciting move now allows the employees to own a portion of the company by owning company stock. This gives our employees a real interest in the company’s success as it translates into financial rewards they see directly in the form of Commercial Tire stock. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing day-to-day HR-related duties on a professional level. Responsibilities may include any/all the following functional areas: payroll, benefits, recruiting/onboarding, HRIS, worker’s compensation, leave management, policy implementation, affirmative action, employee relations, training and coaching leaders in areas of policy and employment law compliance. This role will partner with leaders to support the business needs, in conjunction with the HR Director who reviews and recommends business actions.
The HR Generalist may have specific ownership responsibilities based on the above list. Examples: recruiting, Payroll and/or Benefits, Training.
