DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Applications Developer Administrator, you will direct the application development activities for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) and the Milk Marketing Board (MMB) residing in the Conservation & Environment Delivery Center (CEDC). You will be part of the Solutions Management Division, reporting directly to the Solutions Management Director.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Position is current wage, however it is only temporary until the current vacancy retires, then will be shifted to salary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Senior Applications Developer; or
Four years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
Six years of information technology experience that includes four years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
Two years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor’s degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Selective Criteria:
This position requires two or more years of full-time experience in developing or managing web applications.
This position requires two or more years of full-time experience in managing projects utilizing Agile development methodologies.
Other Requirements:
