DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will provide secretarial support for Assistant District Executive (ADE) Construction, three Assistant Construction Engineers, Construction Services Engineer, Structural Control Engineer, the Finals Unit, the Geotechnical Unit, Materials Unit, a Labor/Contract Compliance Agent, a Consultant Agreement Engineer and with field staff.
You will complete administrative work such as setting up files, maintaining project records, creating letters, and handling correspondences in a timely manner. Other duties include utilizing a virtual filing system, scheduling meetings, and taking minutes.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with 1 hour lunch.
Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.
Positions require the ability to take and transcribe dictation.
Additional Requirement:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
