Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for our Mesa, Arizona location. This is a HYBRID position.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide leadership, partnership, and counsel to the agency. You will work closely with other HR professionals to deliver solutions across key HR initiatives including recruitment, employee engagement & retention, employee relations, change management, performance management, compensation, leadership & employee coaching and development, and policy compliance.

The HRBP will operate collaboratively and independently to establish process, drive consistency, ensure integration, and lead communication. The HRBP is a resourceful, collaborative, organized, independent strategic business partner who prides themselves on excellent judgement, strong business acumen, a self-imposed sense of urgency, and a desire to drive progress.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership across a multitude of critical processes including employee relations, recruiting, compensation, onboarding, retention, performance & talent management, engagement, and learning & development.
• Investigates employee relations issues (complaints, grievances, corrective action, reasonable suspicion, performance management, opportunities) and collaborates with HR, management and/or legal counsel to resolve issues including implementing disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
• Serves as a positive leader and change agent to modernize, standardize, and promote effective and efficient HR practices and processes
• Partners with internal talent acquisition partners to explore strategic solutions to facilitate progressive and strategic hiring, collaboration, and engagement strategies
• Develops and implements effective people processes through employee engagement, performance management, talent management and learning initiatives
• Collaborates with the broader HR team to drive progress across numerous special projects and initiatives
• Uses data to inform decisions and drive change within client groups
• As a true strategic people and business partner, provides sound insight and transparent guidance to leaders, ensuring compliance with state, federal and CBI policies, regulations, and statutes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 6 or more years of progressively responsible HR experience, including resolving complex employee relations issues
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SHRM SCP certification desired
