Join Our Team! Our Sojourner Recovery in-patient treatment facility in Franklin helps men who are in recovery for substance use disorders. This beautiful and modern facility needs staffing 24 hours per day and we looking to hire a few additional Behavioral Health Specialists to provide milieu management and support to our patients.
The Behavioral Health Specialist role is essential to our in-patient treatment services. As a member of our therapeutic support team as you help individuals in recovery recover their purpose and passion in life. This position is responsible for monitoring in-patient activities, assisting individuals in learning to express their emotions, utilize coping skills, and maintain a positive, pro-social environment.
This position is an excellent starting point for your career in Behavioral Health Services. We can help you obtain a CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) credential at no cost to you. This credential allows you to advance your career as a Counselor Assistant providing group counseling to our patients.
New Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour to start
Job Duties:
- Act as a therapeutic resource for individuals in recovery. Provide crisis intervention to patients.
- Provide a safe, secure, structured group home environment through respectful and consistent management of residential house guidelines.
- Maintain appropriate written documentation or verbal reports on client activity and behavior.
- Facilitate groups and structured activities.
- Perform administrative office tasks such as client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and filing.
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be 21 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work with individuals in recovery
- No prior experience required
