Education, Experience and Knowledge Required:
The clinical coordinator(s) has at least a master’s degree in nursing, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychology, or is a psychiatrist; is licensed or certified according to the laws of the state in which the program is operating. Person must have strong clinical skills and experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent illnesses. Supervisory and program management experience is desirable. The person in this position must have a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
The clinical coordinator shall have either 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience in a practice where the majority of clients are adults with chronic mental illness or 1500 hours of supervised clinical experience in a Community Support Program.
