Role: Medical Records Assistant 25-28/hr

Pay: $25/hr-$28/hr

Locations: Chelsea, MA

Job Summary

• Collect data, update spreadsheets, prepare reports and file records.
• Organize and assist in the coordination of the sorting, filing and storage of medical records and pack records in boxes to be sent to offsite storage.
• Maintain records and logs of records received by date and department.
• Maintain general appearance of stockroom.
• Prepare/provide miscellaneous emails and reports as it relates to Medical Records filing updates, Census tracking, Patient Census, and pending IT projects.

Skills required/desired:

• Familiarity and knowledge of filing of Medical Records

· Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel and other data analysis programs

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to gather information through questioning individuals and by examining records and documents.

· Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

· Ability to accomplish work objectives where few precedents or guidelines are available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
