A Computer Programmer II assists in electronic computer programming by performing selected assignments on a progressively responsible basis; prepares block diagrams and writes machine instructions for simple problems; and performs other related duties as required.

There is one (1) vacancy with the Department of Information Technology, Technical Support Division, located in Honolulu. Under the general supervision of a senior systems analyst, the position is responsible for assisting in the analysis and design of information technology systems of City application areas and sub application of State-wide, national or world-wide systems.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with major work in public or business administration, accounting, mathematics or a related field.

In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided.
