Job description

West Michigan Dealer group is looking to hire a Service Manager to join our growing team.

Management experience is preferred, but not required.

We do require someone who can demonstrate good leadership, care for their team members, possesses a great attitude, strong character, a passion for customer service and a drive to seek personal improvement continuously.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer concerns, asking the appropriate questions, and finding the best possible solutions

• Strong communication and customer engagement skills
• Show a commitment to providing the highest quality of customer service
• Handles customer complaints immediately while maintaining the highest ethical standards and operating with the highest level of integrity

• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Build a successful team and maintains a positive attitude while leading a team of 12 or more service associates in an efficient and productive manner
• Understand how to make changes to anticipate the needs of your team
• Maintains safe work environment

• Establish an efficient and profitable department while meeting goals and objectives
• Must be able to maintain a quality staff that meets and exceeds training standards outlined by the manufacturer
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks
• Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys

Qualifications and Skills

In order to be eligible for hire, you must pass pre-enrollment requirements including having a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, clear criminal background and pass a drug test.
