I currently own 12 Quick Service restaurants in the Pizza and Sandwich segment. We have moved employees up the ranks on two occasions and they are now part owners.
The ideal candidate would be willing to come in as a GM at grand opening of one of our National Brands. We would ideally gain a great working relationship then ideally move on to partnering in one of our new ventures.
To be clear, you would not move into ownership of the store you start to GM. It would be in an acquisition of an existing Full Service, rebranding of a closed full service or acquisition of a “One Off” franchise. (acquisition of one franchise location where we would most likely not builde out additional locations). After the ” Great Labor Market Adjustment” during Covid, there is now an abundence of “opportunity to purchase” xisting locations. There are just more people trying to get out of the business then getting in the business. We always have an inventory of 10 plus possible deals, but we make all descisons based on how the opportunity fallsin the Labor market. We typically get very good deal, often with owner financing. OUR MAIN FOCUS IS EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIPS.
I started with one location, with the founding philosophy that if I treat the entry level employee better then the competition then I can succeed. We have always done well with “labor” because we sell “Quality of Life” .
