The Human Resources & Recruiting Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership team.The Manager is responsible for creating and establishing a human resources department through the design, development, and management of the company’s HR processes and procedures, and talent acquisition efforts. He/She will be responsible for employee relations, retention, full life cycle recruiting, training, onboarding, engagement, compensation, safety and performance management. Through influence and partnership, the manager will coach internal stakeholders on best practices to attract, develop, and retain talent. The manager must present an organized, thoughtful and efficient approach to managing the team while reporting progress back to the business leadership. Responsibilities

• Play an integral business partner role supporting the leadership team in achieving the organizations objectives. Contribute meaningfully to the overall development, performance, and growth of the business. Coach business leaders on day to day people matters as well as best ways to deploy talent.
• Create and manage an HR strategic plan including action items and deliverables across all HR disciplines: employee relations, retention, full life cycle recruiting, training, onboarding, engagement, compensation, safety and performance management.
• Develop comprehensive, strategic hiring strategies including recruitment marketing plans and utilization of recruitment technologies. Develop employee branding strategy to increase applicant flow.
• Proactively identify employee relation matters including investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement, and terminations to ensure the right protocols and procedures are executed to protect both employees and the company. Manage risk and resolution of sensitive matters that avoid litigation and/or arbitration. Ensure the appropriate documentation is in place.
• Create a great place to work through identifying and implementing recognition programs and companywide events.
• Measure turnover and produce actionable insights.
• Implement process & strategies to reduce attrition.
• Create a structured Onboarding program ensuring assimilation of all new hires that drive positive employee engagement and enhanced productivity.
• Work with the management team to define and implement a performance management process with clear performance goals and career development for all layers of the organization.
• Create and manage organization charts and structure of the company.

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience as an individual contributor and or manager in high volume and professional recruiting. Experience managing recruiting vendors highly preferred.
• Experience and exposure with employee relations, training, performance management, and other HR disciplines.
• Passionate about implementing and managing innovative HR practices that enable the organization to perform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ensures consistent documentation of all people matters through a highly organized and discreet process.
• Proven ability to challenge and motivate diverse teams.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task, work independently, and capable of working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of HRIS, payroll, and other technologies used to manage people is a PLUS
• Bilingual in Spanish & English.
