The Human Resource Manager is responsible for providing human resources’ business partner support to the Call Center and/or Distribution Center. The role is critical in executing the organization’s HR capital initiatives and driving HR functional excellence at the site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure the success of all human capital initiatives with an emphasis on recruiting and employee relations.
· Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
· Must actively engage in high volume recruiting during annual enrollment period or other times of peak hiring and onboarding
· Manage pre-employment screenings including online assessment tools and the development of job specific profiles.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
· Assist and support employee investigative processes related to disciplinary actions and employee complaints
· Monitor the pulse of the organization to ensure employee morale and engagement
· Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
· Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to fill and employee turnover rate
· Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
· Conduct exit interviews to analyze trends and develop recommendations to improve retention
· Assist with administration of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims
· Maintain all files in a secure and confidential manner according to policy
· Manage other aspects of Human Resources as assigned
EDUCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree
· 5-7 years of human resources experience
· PHR/SPHR certification a plus
· Experience in call center and/or distribution center environments
· High volume recruiting experience is required
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
· Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Flexibility to work according to business needs including weekends during peak hiring season(s)
· Must be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
· In-office work required; this is not a remote position
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company
· Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company
· Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required
