Job Description

Automobile auction is accepting applications for auto detailer.

• Primary Duties:
  Removing trash from vehicles.
  Pressure washing and hand scrubbing exterior.
  Degreasing and steam cleaning engines.
  Vacuuming and shampooing of interiors.
  Wipe down and dressing of interior panels, dash, and door jamb.
  Buffing/waxing of finish.
  Checking engine oil/fluids.
  Cleaning and maintaining of detail shop equipment.
  Cleaning and organizing of detail shop at end of day.
  Cleaning of detail shop employee restroom.

• Other Duties:
  Assist driving staff as needed to transport/drive customer vehicles to and from the auction.
  Removing snow from vehicles and shoveling of snow from perimeter of building.
  Sweeping of gravel from auction lot.
  Cleaning of auction lanes.
  Jump Starting and inflating tires on vehicles.
  Driving vehicles through auction lane on auction days.
  Other tasks as assigned by Auction management.

• Minimum Requirements:
  Current Alaska driver’s license with good driving record and a minimum of three years driving experience.
  Must pass pre-employment drug test with random testing after hire.
  Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  
  Job hours:
  Monday through Friday (8am-5pm). Occasional overtime as needed.
