They focus on creating amazing culinary experiences for their guests through neighbourly hospitality. They are looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join the team at their Italian concept and carry out the daily activities of the kitchen. Chef de Cuisine responsibilities:

• You will ensure the kitchen is operating smoothly and support the Executive Chef with the daily operations of the Back of House
• You will work alongside the Executive Chef to develop and prepare the menus
• You will lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment, all while having a positive and humble personality
• You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests
• You will ensure all food preparation is carried out according to the recipes and in accordance with health standards
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and fire BOH staff members
• You will oversee inventory and food ordering
• You will meet or exceed financial targets
• Comply with all Federal and State policies and procedures

Ideal Chef de Cuisine candidate:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Chef de Cuisine role
• You will have previous Sous Chef experience in a full-service environment
• You will have good career stability and a passion for food and customer service
• You will have experience with financial targets, labour costs, writing schedules, and ordering inventory
• You must be able to develop, mentor, and supervise a team
• You have excellent time management skills
• You have a flexible schedule
• You are a well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire the team around you
