Freedom Transportation Systems is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Driver Manager to join our growing team. This position will oversee dock operations and ensure that drivers are moving the proper freight in a safe and timely manner. This is a fast-paced work environment that requires an energetic leader who can think on their feet with a sense of urgency and finesse.
Schedule: M-F / 3rd Shift (12:00 am – 8:00 am) / Weekends off
Salary: $55,000/yr
Job Details:
- Transport auto and agricultural parts
- Responsible for about 20 drivers
- Data entry and data tracking
- Establish and enforce all safety protocols
- Problem solve and manage breakdowns and delays
- Troubleshoot route and freight issues
- Uphold all quality control and customer requests
- Flexibility to cover routes as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience managing drivers, routes, and freight required
- Dock and quality control experience required
- Logistical problem-solving experience
- Positive attitude and customer service oriented
- Dependable team player
- Must be able to take initiative and be efficient with minimal supervision
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
