If so, the Council for the Homeless (CFTH) is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in transforming lives.
CFTH operates the Housing Solutions Center (HSC), our community’s one-stop access point for over 40 housing assistance programs, including emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and programs designed for specific populations such as families or unaccompanied youth. The Program Coordinator assists all HSC programs, is responsible for welcoming all visitors to the HSC lobby and callers to the HSC during open hours. This position collaborates with program staff to identify and create policies and procedures to fill gaps in the coordinated assessment process. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens the position will conduct housing assessments over the phone or in person, answer the Housing Hotline, support lobby guidelines, assist in scheduling appointments for participants and staff, and address in-person and telephone questions in an accurate and efficient manner.
