Grand Forks County is accepting applications for a full-time Office Administrator for the NDSU Extension Office. As Office Administrator, you will provide office management and administrative support to the Extension County coordinator and Extension agents and provide supervision to other support staff. Responsible for assigned accounts payable and receivable and work with Extension Office County coordinator to develop, manage, and monitor office budget. Supervise work and assist in training of office support staff. Grant management, pay invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports. Process paperwork and reports for pesticide certification. Monitor written exams. Design, update and perform general maintenance of the web site for NDSU Extension in Grand Forks County. Provide technical support for the Interactive Video Network and other equipment associated with videoconferencing. Maintain schedule of the video-conferencing equipment and room with Extension staff and outside users. Manage meeting schedule and activities in the office meeting rooms. Prepare minutes from the Extension office staff meetings. Maintain and order office supplies and materials. Maintain office equipment / equipment lease contracts and office space. Complete annual inventory of county and state property. Update and maintain administrative records and reports such as Civil Rights compliance and Records Disposal Report. Generate other reports as needed or requested. Answer and route incoming phone calls. Greet, direct, inform and assist visitors. Attends work during regularly scheduled hours. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

What are the hours? 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. This role might experience variation to work hours and days to support the department and County needs.

Basic Requirements: Associates or vocational degree in business or related field. Three (3) years of related experience, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
