The Health Education Assistant I/II will be responsible for assisting with the coordination, and evaluation of grant funded Injury Prevention Programs, (Active Transportation, Riverside Overdose Data to Action, Oral Health and Pedestrian/Bike Safety) Duties include, coordinating workshops, presentations and outreach to school districts, the community and organizations to develop partnerships that encourage the implementation of injury prevention programs.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of school and community partners, enjoys public speaking and coordinating events. Bilingual is required for the HEA II and preferred for the HEA I position.
Work Schedule: 9/80; Hours to be determined by department.
This position will require some traveling.
