HR Generalist
· Assist with the recruitment process (internal/external job postings, identifying candidates, scheduling and/or conducting interviews, reference checking and job offer administration).
· Coordinate the onboarding of new hires
· Act as a first line contact for employees who have routine questions relating to HR policies, procedures, benefits, and other related HR programs.
· Assist with payroll.
· Manage the employee database and prepare reports.
· Experience in the areas of labor law and payroll.
· Keep up to date with the latest HR legislation, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent corporate experience and/or PHR certification preferred
· 2-5 years of experience in a related position.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Experience with Human Resources Information System HRIS (working with UltiPro is an asset).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to priorities
· Must be a U.S. citizen.
