The Onboarding Lead oversees the company’s Onboarding Program, ensuring the onboarding roadmap is completed for all new hires, supporting successful assimilation of new team members during their first 12 months.
Outcomes and Activities:
Facilitate completion of all onboarding action items and sessions throughout the onboarding journey.
Coordinate hiring cohorts and corresponding meetings, roundtables, and activities.
Lead meetings of 100+ team members and generate participation and engagement.
Request, track and analyze feedback from hundreds of new hires annually.
Partner with hiring leaders and key stakeholders to continuously review, evaluate, and update onboarding plans.
Track over 1000 onboarding journeys annually and ensure execution of several related tasks.
Work with several other key teams involved conducting key onboarding trainings and information sessions such as Training and Development, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, People Strategies, Employee Engagement, HR Operations, and Communications.
Develop a measurement system and monitor success of the Onboarding Program, which considers turnover, engagement rates, and satisfaction survey results.
Oversee the company’s new hire buddy program, maintain active roster and partnership and manager applications.
Act as point of contact for questions related to new hire onboarding for all areas of the business.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, and deadlines appropriately.
Engaging and positive, ability to act as a champion of our Credit Acceptance culture.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to lead large meetings and drive results.
Active problem solver, with an ability to understand, interpret and act on information promptly and effectively.
High sense of urgency, acting quickly to facilitate change both reactively and proactively.
Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a role that focuses on the support of our Credit Acceptance team members OR in an external position with a primary focus on company culture and team member engagement
Professional experience managing large company initiatives with several working groups
Experience participating in significant process improvement projects from ideation to execution
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Intermediate Excel skills
Preferred:
Experience with Workday or similar HR Information System
Targeted Compensation: $93,763 – $109,391 + an annual bonus plan
