The mission of the brand team is to translate business strategy into compelling, meaningful and emotionally resonant interactions that differentiate our brand, and elevate the role caregiving plays in our lives.We are looking for a creative, passionate, and authentic leader to guide the brand voice. The ideal candidate has a successful track record of defining and developing best-practice copy and voice across channels.What You’ll be Working on:* Set strategy, messaging and voice, and provide creative direction across web, mobile, email, social media, direct mail, print, TV and video* Oversee and direct the copy team* Present and defend creative work with authority, eloquence and enthusiasm* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve user and client experience* Work with Product Marketing Team to develop positioning for new products and services* Collaborate with Product Design team to bring new product features and services to market* Proactively help to foster a creative culture that inspires and encourages optimistic thinkingWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:* Demonstrate clear understanding of branding and direct marketing principles* Be a strong conceptual thinker, with the ability to translate ideas into practical business focused, actionable items* Be both a leader and a team player* Ensure that strategy dives positioning* Be an agile problem-solver, able to adapt quickly to changes in direction* Lead by example; be able to represent the Creative Director when necessary* Demonstrate strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills* Have energy, a sense of humor, and an open & curious mind!Required Skills:* 10 years writing for consumer brands in digital media* Excellent attention to detail and follow-through* Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills* Agency experience preferredFor a list of our Perks + Benefits, click here!Care.com supports diverse families and communities and seeks employees who are just as diverse.
