CREG Systems is an Information Technology, Consulting, and Low Voltage Company headquartered in Watertown, NY. We provide technical support solutions to Commercial, Federal, State, and local government sectors.
The Cabling Division of CREG is currently seeking highly motivated self-starters to join our team in a low voltage cabling engineer capacity.
We are seeking candidates with experience maintaining and installing all types of copper and fiber low voltage systems.
Position duties:
- Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.
- Dress and route cable into telecommunications closet, modular furniture and other work areas.
- Buildout MDF’s and IDF’s.
- Cable Management
- Installation of AV Equipment
- Installation of Wireless Access Points
- Cable testing and assessment surveys
Experience Required:
1. Familiar with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a installation, labeling and testing.
2. Ability to terminate RJ45 jacks and Patch Panels
3. Ability to work independently in commercial and construction environments.
4. Ability to test and certify cables
5. Ability to read floor plans

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
