Culmen is hiring* Shift Supervisors *for multiple positions and locations within Texas.

Background
The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Operations (DUCO) program provides unaccompanied children (UC) with a safe and appropriate environment until they are transported to appropriate sponsors while their immigration cases proceed. ORR is an office within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), which is a division of the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS). The ORR has identified a critical need for transportation services at a national level to transport UC in ORR facilities located throughout the United States.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• High visible management role that manages all operations, both future and current, that occur on designated shifts, on-site.
• Oversee and execute end-to-end operations and logistics with the objective of successful family reunification.
• Ensure all on-site equipment and systems are fully functionally and in working order.
• Shift supervisor may directly interface with USG personnel via virtual sessions or telephonically.
• Leads and participates in daily meetings with on-site personnel and higher management; this includes, but not limited to, briefing drivers, logisticians, and youth care workers.
• Directly responsible for all personnel on shift; ensure all personnel are synchronized and working together to achieve common objectives.
• Interfaces and reports to the on-site supervisor; keeps onsite supervisor current and up-to-date with all significant events.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years with relevant experience
• Willingness to work shifts
• Trained and experienced in deconflicting competing priorities and stabilizing emergent situations.
• Availability to support flexible schedules, including overnight shifts.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• HSPD-12 PIV Credential Tier 1
• National Agency Check and Inquiries—NACI Clearance
