POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Product Manageris to develop, initiate and lead the execution of product assortment and strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver greater market share. The successful candidate is a strong leader and innovator capable of spotting trends and developing suppliers. Candidate shall develop and execute strategies, create and update measurements tools, and aid in decision making for all tactical efforts of the buying team, including product assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotional opportunities.
Responsibilities:
· Source and establish Hi-turn product lineup.
· Develop and initiate product strategies to drive revenue growth and greater market share.
· Maintain current inventories and ensuring that stock levels are held at an adequate level.
· Continuously monitoring market demand and trends.
· Negotiate with supplier/ manufacturer to get the product with the best price.
· Drive e-comm / in -stores assortment and sales.
· Coordinate merchandise presentation for retail mailers and catalogs.
· Resolves escalated buyer product related issues.
· Efficient organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
· Engaging interpersonal and presentation skills.
· Strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to draw conclusion to make recommendations.
· Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment.
· Establishes and maintains effective vendor relationships and works with buyers to strengthen market relationship and product and trend knowledge.
· Work for developing a good supply chain so that you can buy your required product easily.
· Analyzing each buying opportunity available for a particular situation.
· Budget and forecast future buying needs.
· Develop and maintain a buying database.
· Check and verify all the required specifications of purchased products.
Requirements:
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Knowledge of automotive products and brands.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Ability to develop strong partnerships.
· Analytical Skills – Problem Solving, Decision Making, Strategic Thinking.
· candidate needs to know how to use Microsoft Office programs.
Education and/or Experience:
· Experience in a relevant field.
· Minimum 1-2 years as Buyer in a multi-location retail operation.
