Performs customer service work to provide assistance and information on procedural, legal and/or financial requirements relating to City services which requires interpretation of a wide range and variety of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, etc.; processes permits, applications, licenses and other forms and documents; receives complaints regarding various City and County activities and services and performs other related duties as required.
Current Vacancy:
There are five (5) vacancies with the Department of Customer Services, Satellite City Hall Division. This position is responsible for providing government services to the public in a pleasant, helpful and courteous manner. Performs duties that include but is not limited to processing designated motor vehicle transactions, designated driver licensing functions, loading zone permits, bus stop permits, disabled parking permits, picnic permits, operating a cash register and other office equipment, processing and distributing other City documents and permits.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
One year of clerical experience, which shall have included some customer service or public contact experience.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of an appropriate valid driver’s license, as required.
