The National Accounts and Public & Labor – Dental & Vision Director of Account Management leads a team of sales and account management professionals on the Dental and Vision team for large case market (National Accounts and Public Sector and Labor.)
Provides leadership for the account management functions for a business unit. Maintains relationships with decision-makers of key clients in order to retain and grow revenue and membership. Supports the new business sales efforts and initiates activities which lead to the sale of additional benefits into existing accounts. Sets strategy for assigned business unit regarding pricing, product offering, and service in order to maximize revenue and contribution from existing clients. Must work effectively with underwriting and finance business leads. Collaborates with other departments to resolve service issues, improve service levels, and maximize client satisfaction. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Achieves cross sell, growth/retention and profitability targets and customer satisfaction levels.
Supports team in developing productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for assigned book of business.
Ensures alignment with customerxe2x80x99s objectives, financial position and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth to Aetna.
Manages, develops and cultivates relationships with constituents as appropriate.
Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent Aetna in the marketplace; articulates how Aetna products and services can contribute to constituentsxe2x80x99 objectives.
Manages and executes the sales process
in collaboration with the internal constituents as necessary.
Ensures team members create open enrollment strategy with producer and plan sponsor to maximize enrollment.
Manages team in working with plan sponsor services to ensure case is installed correctly.
Recruits, develops and retains a diverse workforce.
Designs, communicates, implements and monitors performance metrics with assigned team; aligns assigned performance measures with company objectives. Develop individual development plans. Coach and mentor.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 105,000
Maximum: 226,600
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
