The **Craft Supervisor** manages rotating equipment and measurement teams within their assigned Region to ensure reliable and cost-effective Pipeline and Terminal operations.
+ Leads a team of specialist & technicians (Measurement, & Rotating Equipment) who are located remotely (i.e., some distance from the Supervisor’s primary location) and whose responsibilities include:
+ Executing all troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair for pipeline and terminal assets including (but not limited to) instrumentation, measurement, and rotating equipment.
+ Providing guidance on design and oversight of startup of all afore-mentioned equipment.
+ Implementation of corporate or regional programs/initiatives concerning I&E, Measurement, & Rotating Equipment
+ Oversees all training requirements, including OQ’s, for craft personnel within the Region.
+ Providing technical guidance for the design, installation, and operation of all pipeline and terminal assets in the Region.
+ Active member of FETs or participant in network working with Engineering Services and peers to ensure related standards, policies, and procedures are fit for purpose and cost-effective.
+ Works with Regional Engineering to ensure critical spares are identified and plans in place to maintain or build this inventory.
+ Steward for and approver of the Region’s critical spares and other parts inventory.
+ Developing a long-range plan to ensure all regional equipment is properly maintained according to applicable standards and policies and is incorporated into the Region’s capital, expense, and major maintenance budgets.
+ Works with Operations Superintendents to ensure tracking and controlling of maintenance budgets.
+ Works with Operations Superintendents to understand need and prioritization of callouts while minimizing the need for over-time
+ Coordinating with the Planner/Scheduler to ensure the Region Maintenance Schedule is complete, accurate, and up to date.
+ Serves as mentor for proving, electrical, and rotating equipment contractors to ensure personnel from these companies are trained in our policies and lifesaving rules.
+ Coordinating with the Operations Superintendents and Local Operations to plan and schedule maintenance and project work to minimize the impact to Pipeline and Terminal operations.
+ Ensuring the craft teams execute work according to applicable regulations, standards, policies, and procedures and in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
+ Working closely with Energy Management and Operations to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
+ Leads craft teams to understand failures, analyze trends, and take action to eliminate repeated failures to ensure uptime and availability are held to the highest standard.
+ Works with PTO and Operations to support start-up efforts.
+ Serves as Regional champion to lead craft teams in the implementation of initiatives such as Machine Health Monitoring, ESD Reduction, Cyber Security, etc.
+ Working with Engineering Services, the Functional Excellence Team, and applicable industry organizations to identify new technologies in support of reliable and cost-effective operations and stay current with changes to industry regulations, standards, and practices.
+ Working with the Engineering Director and Technicians to identify and implement new tools, processes, and technologies.
+ Ensuring Training programs for crafts are thorough and applicable to Region work force.
+ Ensuring failures and near misses are appropriately investigated and resulting action items are implemented.
+ Manage contract, material, and service providers to ensure they provide professional quality services.
+ Supporting related inspections, audits, and Emergency Response activities.
+ Legally authorized to work in job posting country
+ Associate degree
+ Must have a valid driver’s license
+ 7 or more years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing pipeline and terminal equipment
+ 3 or more years of experience in a leadership and supervisory position
+ Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance module and preventative maintenance processes
+ Experience with industry safe work practices
+ Experience with P66 policies and standards for equipment installation operation
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
+ Able to read and understand related drawings and technical documents
+ Willing and able to perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation to travel up to 25%
+ Direct experience large rotating equipment, and measurement systems
+ Direct experience with the Plant Maintenance module of SAP, MHM, and ECM.
+ Working knowledge of Hazardous area classifications
+ Broad knowledge of MPMS, DOT 195, ASME, and NEC requirements as applicable to I&E, Measurement, & Rotating Equipment in the Midstream Operations space
