Position Summary
Delaware County Community College (DCCC), located outside of the
Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for a dynamic Assistant Vice President, Finance & Administration, to join our team

Essential Functions
Reporting to VP of Finance & Administration, the AVP will be responsible for oversight of budgets,
accounting, auxiliary, and financial reporting activities. A critical member of the college’s leadership team, the AVP will be involved in
collaborating with leaders across the institution and will have regular opportunities to present financial information to internal and
external groups. The AVP will lead day-to-day business operations that are in place to support the College’s mission. The AVP has
functional responsibility over accounting, cash management, investment management, and risk management.
The
successful candidate must be an engaging, effective, innovative, dynamic leader who is strategic and fosters collaboration in a fast-paced
environment. This individual must be able to demonstrate the use of best practice strategies associated with general accounting practices
(GAAP), as well as extensive knowledge of internal controls standards and external regulations. The AVP must have a demonstrated ability to
encourage, model, embrace, and incorporate diverse thought and perspective of all individuals of various backgrounds, ideas, and
perspectives.
Experience & Education
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years
of progressive financial management leadership experience of accounting related activities in a professional setting; higher education,
non-profit, or public accounting preferred; experience with grant administration, reporting, and compliance is preferred. A BA/BS
degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Finance or a related field of study is required; or equivalent combination
of education and related experience; Master’s degree in accounting is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
