The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, and onboard new team members.
• Develop and deliver training to new and existing associates, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their job functions, policies, procedures, and opportunities for growth.
• Handle all associate relations matters and complaints, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution. Participate in grievance process for union associates when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal auditing and the maintenance and safeguarding of associate files.
• Act as a connector between the location and our enterprise HR team, advocating and educating for consistent and best practice policies and practices and sharing insights and knowledge unique to the location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7to 10 years of HR experience with at least 3 to 5 years HR Generalist experience.
• Experience working in a seasonal environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
• Experience with iCIMS or similar HRIS system, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
