GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for the compliance, implementation and administration of all benefit programs, compensation programs in accordance with federal/state employment laws and internal company policies and procedures. Ensure data integrity with all HRIS data and reporting. Act as liaison with outside vendors and provides leadership to and directs the compensation/HRIS and benefits teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Benefits:
1. Manage the process of evaluating, recommending, and administering benefit programs for all associates, including review of all new vendor and plan contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Manage benefit broker and benefit vendor relationships, including requesting special services and addressing customer service issues.
3. Ensure compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by remaining current on state, federal, and local laws and regulations pertaining to benefits and implementing necessary plan changes, including ACA state reporting requirements.
4. Prepare required and requested reports and filings with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
5. Assist with the administration of various associate benefit programs, such as group insurance, life, medical and dental, accident, disability, and multiple voluntary benefit plans.
6. Oversee the Open Enrollment process, including preparing materials, conducting training for Associates, and managing the process through UKG.
7. Manage the oversight of the 401(k) Plan.
8. Participate in the quarterly Cook Street Consulting meetings.
9. Enhance, promote, and oversee the Wellness programs.
Compensation/HRIS:
1. Oversee management of company-wide compensation program to ensure company compensation policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently.
2. Provide reporting and metric data to various departments and leaders within the organization.
3. Manage the annual performance management process for Corporate and Operations positions.
4. Coordinate with accounting on the annual merit and bonus payment process.
Management:
1. Supervise direct reports in accordance with overall company policy.
2. Monitor direct reports performance including performance reviews and address performance problems through corrective action.
3. Approve time records and requests for time off for direct reports.
4. Assist direct reporting staff to address and resolve concerns or complaints involving job duties and job descriptions, performance standards, relations with coworkers, relations with supervisors and manager.
5. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Regular and consistent attendance on the job is an essential function.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, related field, or its equivalent experience, required.
2. Minimum eight – ten years’ experience in compensation, benefits, or related fields, required.
3. Experience and knowledge of ERISA, and other applicable state/federal statutes and regulations required.
4. Demonstrated experience working with and presenting to executive leadership.
5. Demonstrated experience in Budget Management including managing to budget expenses.
6. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license unless otherwise noted.

Salary Range:
$100,00.00/yr. (minimum) – $110,000.00/yr. (maximum), depends on experience
Bonus Potential:
