Responsibilities.
- Accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on various makes and model
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Maintain both personal and shop equipment and tools in good condition
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- To communicate effectively with other employees and customers as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as auto mechanic
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Strong ability to read, research, analyze and understand repair data from various resources
- Good physical condition with good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
- Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
- Virginia State Inspection license and/or Emissions Inspector’s license preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $124,000.00 per year
