Compensation and Benefits Specialist
Job Description Summary
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing employee compensation and benefits, job descriptions, benchmark data, and related daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for market survey providers relationship, data submission and market data analysis report to evaluate the competitiveness of compensation strategy
- Conduct compensation reviews for employment offers including global mobility packages for expatriate employees from Delta group
- Execute annual salary / promotion review processes
- Support incentive program design and responsible for incentive program execution
- Coordinate compensation and benefits related activities in Americas regions (include US, CAN and LATAM countries)
- Perform job, salary, incentive, and FLSA exemption evaluations
- Assist with Workday configuration and administration of annual open enrollment and compensation module
- Administer Benefit plans including enrollments/terminations/wellness program/benefit information system. Ensure benefit invoices’ accuracy and resolve discrepancy if any. Propose changes to the benefit policy design based on market trends and employee needs
- Support other HR ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 8+ years of experience in progressive HR position, with focused experience in compensation and benefits
- Excellent compensation data modeling & statistical analytics capability
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel (vLookup, IF, OR, Match, PivotTable, PivotChart, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, etc.) and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws, guidelines, and compliance regulations relative to compensation and benefits
- Experience with Workday Advance Compensation preferred
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Well organized and detail orientated
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Passion with HR career and willing to wear multiple HR hats at the same time
- Customer-oriented working attitude
- Fast learner and team player
- Adaptable to diverse org culture
