Job Purpose:

Creates and maintains organized accurate inventory by helping create and enforce inventory organization structure, performing cycle counts, making inventory adjustments, and receiving postal and LTL deliveries.

Duties:

• Unload LTL deliveries and receive materials in the inventory management system
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse managers to plan and implement warehouse organization
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with inventory management system; notifying purchasing when items need to be reordered
• Work efficiently and safely with other warehouse employees
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts
• Abide by receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations procedures and policies / program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
• Other responsibilities as assigned

We are a vibrant company, so the warehouse is a fast passed environment. We need someone who will work quickly and multi-task effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates with roofing and construction material knowledge and experience managing of such materials.

Hours & Times:

• Normal Job duties will occur between 8:00 am and 4:30 PM but early morning hours and weekend work will be required at times.

Boot Program:

One pair of company chosen boots will be offered at a 50% subsidy on an annual basis.
