The VP, Managed Care Sales is responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term sales relationships in the Medicare Advantage space and to achieve/exceed revenue and market share goals. This position is responsible for the planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, and recruiting and selection of sales talent. Reporting to the President YHN, the VP Managed Care Sales fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success. This position will manage one or more Account Managers. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning and budgeting process. Ensure planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the organization Provide leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the President, in implementing sales objectives that appropriately reflect the organization’s goals Work closely with President and sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Meet or exceed assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities in the Medicare Advantage space Monitor and develop Medicare Advantage leads to establish potential for sales partnership Demonstrate extensive knowledge of YHN products, sales programs, services, and processes Participate in Sales Leadership Group for Managed Care to influence the direction and effectiveness of the sales organization Recruit, select, coach and develop Account Managers Align reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance management priorities Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities Deliver desired Service Levels based on customer segmentation approach Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Experience Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by President Qualifications BS/BA degree required; preferably in business administration or other related fields Minimum 10 years experience in Medicare Advantage account sales; Experience in hearing industry preferred Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment Demonstrated ability to conduct annual sales planning and execute accordingly Demonstrated ability to create sales relationships Outstanding sales history Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
