This position is in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Driver Services Administration. The incumbent will rotate throughout all service centers of the DC DMV. Incumbent reports to the Driver Services Administrator. The position assists the Driver Services Administrator and Senior Leadership in identifying and/or formulating goals, priorities, and program objectives and performance standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
The Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Driver Services Administrator, who provides detailed operational and strategic goals according to the laws, policies, and best practices and oversees the development and coordination of operational and strategic activities.
Oversees issues related to the Service Center operations, service delivery, and workflow management, regularly evaluating and assessing front-line operations and other Driver Services Administration functions to ensure agencywide consistency and compliance with customer service-related service level agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
To be creditable, at least one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal lime of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

The work is performed in a service center setting. The work is not sedentary there will be walking or standing for periods of time.

Tour of Duty: Rotating Shifts, Tuesday – Saturday
Duration of Appointment: Management Supervisory Service “AT WILL.” All positions and appointments in the MSS serve at the pleasure of the appointment authority and may be terminated at any time with or without cause.
Collective Bargaining Unit (NonUnion): This position is not in the collective bargaining unit.
This position subject to enhance suitability screening, Suitability (DPM Chapter 4).
