As part of the Licensing Division within the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC), this position is responsible for license issuance on all transfers, new licenses, permits and any change that affects licensed businesses, which involves activating businesses, accurately coding information and releasing documents to the licensee. This position is also responsible for processing cancellations of liquor licenses, updating the database and notifying staff when complete. During the Renewal period this position is responsible for processing all active and escrowed renewal applications, which involves checking each application for accuracy and printing and mailing active retail licenses.
