Director of Sales and Marketing

About Us:

DigitalPath is hiring! We are hiring a Director of Sales and Marketing for our Chico, CA location. DigitalPath is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) providing residential and business internet service in Northern and Central California. We specialize in bringing high-speed wireless internet to rural or hard to reach customers. Our mission is to bring a faster, more reliable service for customers that are typically unserved or underserviced by cable companies. We are proud to partner with the State of California, CalFire, Alert Wildfire, and other large corporations that are involved in providing both prevention and response technology for California wildfire emergencies.

The Ideal Candidate will be someone that will:

• Promotes DigitalPath’s core values along with promoting a positive and professional work environment by setting an example and communicating the core values and culture effectively to others. Ensure others are following the core values and fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Oversees, coordinates, and participates in the development of sales and marketing strategies for products/services offered by DigitalPath.
• Provides leadership and strategic direction of company sales and marketing functions.
• Develops and implements sales and marketing strategy.
• Monitors and analyzes sales and marketing activity against goals.
• Directs and oversees the development of short- and long-range goals and objectives consistent with DigitalPath’s strategic sales plan.

A Successful Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
• Five (5) years of experience in marketing and long-range planning.
• Strong computer skills with Office 365 and stand-alone applications such as, Excel, Word, Project, Access and PowerPoint.
• Highly Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgement in solving problems and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory and/or leadership skills.
• Capability of communicating effectively both orally and in writing.

• Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies and practices
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record with DUIs and no more than 1 point. (0 points preferred).

Physical requirements:

• While performing duties of this job, employee may be required to sit for prolonged periods working at a computer.
• Requires sufficient strength and coordination for lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying up to 15 lbs.
• Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check, driving record review, non-arduous physical, and drug/alcohol screening.

Compensation and Benefits information

Compensation will be based on experience.
