ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position supports the mission of DM Wireless to maintain its accuracy in accounting, taxes, audits, budget

and auctions within others. Provides support and will be reporting to the accounting and finance manager.

Submits reports on a recurrent basis or special request. Manage overall accounting journal transactions,

department policies and procedures including development, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures

and best practices following GAAP.

§ Responsible for all general accounting duties; including A/R, A/P, credit, collections, and payroll

§ Assist in financial planning and analysis

§ Supervise accounting and collections clerical staff to ensure accurate accounting transactions

§ Assist in development, documentation, and monitoring of accounting internal controls and

procedures

§ Prepare monthly & end year closing reports and financial statements

§ Conduct financial year end audit with independent certified public accountant and internal

periodic audits

§ Research, development and submittals of auctions

§ Cash flow management, account receivable/payable transactions, collections, closing process;

financial statements and taxes

§ Negotiate and analyze transactions and taxes with governmental agencies

§ Responsible for the general accounting process, maintenance and accuracy of accounting records

such as financial statements and financial reports in compliance with company policies and

procedures

§ Revised the adjustments to the accounting journals, ledgers, and other records on a monthly and

end-year basis.

§ Responsible for the monthly & end of year closing process, balance sheet accounts analysis, bank

reconciliations analysis, journal entries & adjustments entries.

§ Analyzed and approved monthly cash over/short discrepancies, and prepared cash deposits

discrepancies reports.

§ Conduct a monthly physical inventory, reconciliation, and discrepancies report for all company

warehouses

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS · BBA or MBA in accounting · Knowledge in accounting for federal and local awards/grants · Experience in financial and federal single audits · 5 – 8 years of relevant experience PREFERRED SKILLS · Excellent analytical, technical, and accounting skills · Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) · Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and or Sage 50 · Advanced MS Excel skills ADDITIONAL NOTES · Adhere to strict standards od conduct · Assist management in general accounting and financial reporting duties as requested, including the preparation of special reports · Compute taxes and prepare tax returns · Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity · Manage balance sheet and profit/loss statements · Audit financial transactions and documents · Reinforce financial data confidentiality · Supervise and review work prepared by junior accountant and collections clerk · Create and maintain bidder number
