Doncasters Hiring for HR Manager at Long Beach, CA Full Time

In this standalone position based in Long Beach, CA, the HR Manager will be responsible for the full scope of HR, acting as a partner to the business in delivering people and talent focused solutions.

Reporting into the site General Manager, with a HR support network across the wider Doncasters group, the HR Manager will:

Drive and embed HR strategy through understanding the business needs and ways that HR can support the business;

Be a HR Partner to the General Manager and an integrated member of the Site Leadership Team;

Coach the Site Management Team around people related matters. Enable managers to become confident and equipped to take responsibility for their employees and empower their teams;

Be a credible member of the Site Management Team and play a key role in site strategic delivery;

Work within the HR Operations team to ensure delivery of process, analytics and training & development excellence.

Develop credible relationships within the Global and Regional HR Function and Doncasters business, encouraging a ‘Team Doncasters’ mindset;

Support the development of initiatives and ensure successful implementation at a local level.

Requirements:
Minimum 5years’ experiencein a HR Generalist position

HR experience in Manufacturing highly desirable

HR experience in a standalone role highly desirable

Working knowledge of CA Employment Law

Demonstrates a strategic and tactical mind set
