D.S. Jolie Landscapes is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Operations Manager for our growing company. D.S. Jolie Landscapes is a design/build and horticultural service company in the seacoast area of NH. We specialize in natural stone construction and sustainable landscaping/horticultural services to a premium class of customers. We pride ourselves on our sustainable approach to landscape design and implementation, as well as, our emphasis on superior quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have attention to detail, organized, management skills, plant knowledge and be willing to help in the field when needed.
The Operations Manager must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscape business and operationsincluding: Sales/Estimating, Production/Scheduling, Customer Service, Training, as well as, some weekly billable work with the crews on properties. The Operations Manager oversees crews and all aspect of the operations on a daily basis while interfacing with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
· Creating a culture of cooperation and professionalism among our team, following the company’s core values, mission statement and vision
· Follow up with sales leads and referrals in a timely manner and prepare estimates on LMN software
· Perform site visits to obtain measurements to create a plan/design/budget/proposals
· Strong client communications while offering exceptional customer service from initial contact to finish of the project and follow up
· Collaborate with the owners/admin on budgets, personnel, sales/operations and other business matters.
· Project management of sourcing/ordering materials, layout of projects and scheduling. This includes working in the field with crews from time to time.
· Schedule, lead, organize crews, and managing quality control for the successful completion of landscape projects and horticultural service in a professional manner
· Help increase our sales volume in recurring Horticultural services to our existing high end clientele.
· We do not do snow removal!
REQUIREMENTS
We offer a stimulating, high-paced work environment, educational opportunities, bonus pay, and year round salary commensurate with experience.
· Salary range $65,000 and up commensurate w/exp for the right candidate.
· 50+ hr work week mid-March- mid Dec Monday through Friday, 4 day work week in off season
