DTC Hiring for Technology Sales Specialist (IT and Cyber Security) Job at Valencia, CA Full Time

Based in Santa Clarita California and founded in 1982, DTC (Digital Telecommunications Corp) is a leading telecommunication and IT integrator in the Southern California market. DTC is looking to expand the sales and marketing team with a Technology Sales Specialist.

The primary function of the Technology Sales Specialist within DTC is to find sales opportunities and turn them in to long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction. This is a full-time salary + commissioned position for an experienced IT / Cyber Security sales specialist.

Responsibilities

• Uncover new sales opportunities for managed IT services, cybersecurity, and business phone systems within the existing customer base
• Develop strategic solutions based on industry trending and customer analysis, which includes preparing executive profiles, and continuous study of assigned accounts’ industry, business challenges, and trends.
• Manage and coordinate company resources to customize technology solutions based on customer needs
• Adopt and execute the DTC sales process designed to partner with the customer and help to leverage technology to advance their business
• Create and deliver powerful presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition of the company and our solutions
• Develop strategic solution proposals and recommendations to present directly to your clients
• Articulate the unique business value of our proactive managed IT services, cybersecurity, and business phone system offerings
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned customer accounts
• Proactively manage your sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related fields, or equivalent business experience.
• Work Experience: 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience with 1-2 years sales experience in our industry.
• Experience in MSP Services, telecommunications, IT consulting sales, and/or structured cabling (low-voltage).
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software. CRM work will include, but is not limited to forecasting, filtering database, and researching customer history.
• Reliable transportation.
• Designated workspace at home (if WFH is requested*).

Compensation:

Up to $65,000 base salary + Commission (Goal Earnings: $100,000)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
