Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of a Regional Revenue Cycle Management firm and meet the vales, guiding principles and operating the quantifiable and strategic goals of ebix, Inc. A Manager of Operations must juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment. The Operations Manager must meet the business objectives of the organization by ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction in our multi specialty practice environment. Medical billing expertise is essential to this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan control and monitor operations for assigned areas of responsibilities.
* Understand Accounts Receivable processes and ability to manage several at one time
* Design, implement and maintain processes to maximize quality of operations.
* Ensure compliance policies and procedures are followed
* Manage the recruitment, retention development and formal recognition of employee where appropriate
* Provide direction, clarity of expectations and coaching to supervision.
* Manage employee performance by setting and communicating standards, measuring results, and providing feedback.
* Act as a resource to employees in resolving problems and increasing efficiencies
* Modify jobs or roles of employees to increase job satisfaction and employee development
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or other applicable field of study preferred
* Strong medical billing skills
* Minimum of three years in Revenue Cycle Management experience, including employee supervision required
* Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required
* Quantifiable and strategic skills preferred
