This is the entry level class in the professional Electrical Engineering series. Performs routine professional engineering work in the review and analysis of electrical designs, plans and specifications for compliance with provisions of the electrical code and departmental standards; and performs other related duties as required.
Current Vacancy:
There is one vacancy with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, Capital Projects Division, Mechanical and Electrical Branch. This position performs routine but progressively responsible engineering work in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, and assists in the review and analysis of plans and specifications for electrical engineering features and compliance with Department requirements.

**$4,287 per month (SR-18) salary includes $275 shortage differential.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty.
Possession of an appropriate valid driver’s license (automobile/Type 3), as required.
