Position Purpose:
Behave as a leader within the Eleven hospitality team and encourage and support all coworkers to
deliver the Eleven product to the highest possible standard every day. Act as a unifying force across the portfolio.
Manage day to day operations at your assigned locations. The number of locations and geographical locations can vary based on skillset and property needs.
Share product innovations and structure with teammates in a clear manner to streamline and improve global operations.
Remain open to all possibilities proposed for Eleven operations and help to understand their viability, operability, and sustainability.
Work to understand the cultural differences that enhance the guest experience and add depth to the Eleven work environment.
Work to further the Eleven product by questioning operational norms, proposing solutions, and striving to innovate and streamline the Eleven operation.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Strive to find operational efficiencies, improved experiences for clients, and cost savings that will enhance Elevenxe2x80x99s product offerings. Complete annual operations budgets, quarterly budget reviews, and monthly P+L reviews. Strive for profitability and cost savings at all properties. Perform quality control at Eleven properties by evaluating and providing feedback of the hospitality operation as requested. This is included but not limited to reviewing team performance, facilities management, food and beverage operations, guide operations, and overall alignment with the Eleven brand. Develop and perform hospitality operations trainings of all types including pre-season, on-going, emergency, and skill specific trainings. Help form and train local training committees that drive the training agenda and focus for each property Work closely with the chief operating officer to maintain the Eleven standard of operations at all properties. Collaborate with all general managers to implement global standards at all properties as well as to define the distinct aspects of their operations that should be clarified and highlighted. Champion the standardization workflow with all teams by coaching them to document all aspects of the product from concept, to written standard, to training, to PLM checklist. Protect all institutional knowledge through clear documentation. Enforce functional and accurate daily use of operations systems such as PLM checklists, guest CRM ing, and in all business systems. Maintain high level competency in SalesForce, Opera, Micros, PLM, and any other CRM or business management tool. Support complex operations at all Eleven properties. This may include managing or assisting for high profile guest stays, events, owner visits, new product implementations or anything else that may arise Complete all project or deployment follow up work in a timely manner. This includes management summaries, s, progress s, standards, checklists or any other document that clearly outlines the purpose, steps, and outcome of a project. Seek to keep Eleven competitive and ahead of trends through industry research. Complete competitive analysis each year according to product development cycle for all properties and products. Work to create and support a culture of learning and questioning with the operations teams by accepting their feedback, building trusting relationships, and working to transcend cultural and communication boundaries through clear interactions Maintain all operational documents in an organized manner within the Jetson Systems Dropbox and Google Drive taxonomy. Project manage new property openings, new product launches, business projects, strategic property closures, or any other large coordinated project or event. Spearhead and complete project specific work as assigned. Maintain a strong knowledge of the intricacies of the Eleven product at all properties to best assist with problem solving and product advancement. Work with the property leaders, product development lead, and department heads to complete all product development work according to the product development cycle. Step in to support Eleven operations during times of need, staffing shortages, or transitions by working in various roles, completing trainings, and/or providing additional capacity on the ground when needed. Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by email, in Slack, and over the phone with all team members and guests. Qualifications: Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite Opera SalesForce Extensive knowledge of Elevenxe2x80x99s operations, product, and brand Special Position Requirements: Travel to Elevenxe2x80x99s properties for varying lengths of time from days to months depending on the projectxe2x80x99s needs.
