THE ROLE
The Employee Relations Specialist will manage all part-time coach investigations (Harassment/Discriminations/Etc.) and the full interactive process. As The Employee Relations Specialist you will manage all accommodations requests, manage and track Elevo Learning’s mandated trainings as well as lead HR Onboarding Training. Also, assist the HR Director in the implementations of new policies and procedures. Other duties included but not limited to are as follows.
Ability to coach/advise employees and management through sensitive HR issues to resolve conflict and seek workable solutions.
Conduct individual and/or group facilitations to foster effective communication and healthy workplace relationships among employees and management.
Investigate work-related or compliance issues and preparing summary reports, conclusions and recommendations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and various agencies at all levels of the organizations.
Use reason and de-escalation skills to manage difficult or emotional situations.

Plan, design, implement, and conduct training to a diverse level of management, and employees.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent progressively responsible professional experience.
Functional knowledge of Title I and Title II of the ADA, Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Knowledge of Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA),
Knowledge of Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA).
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and related state and federal regulations.
