Program Evaluation:
Responsible for developing and evaluating metrics to understand current baselines and how to measure progress/measurable improvements in diversity, equity, and inclusion for the workforce.
Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, outside partners, leadership, and human resources to evaluate current recruitment and retention policies and practices across all disciplines to identify areas of focus and improvement strategies.
Responsible for evaluating employee involvement and engagement in residential activities and improvement initiatives.
Responsible for evaluating current communication models and modes to identify barriers and ways to enhance bi-directional communication strategies.
Responsible for evaluating data and metric related to the workforce and resident care to identify focus areas for enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Program Development and Implementation:
In collaboration with Caswell Development Center, DHHS Central Human Resources and the DHHS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office, this position is responsible for developing and implementing a campus wide leadership program that enhances skills of mangers in areas such as conflict resolution, communication, performance management, recruitment, and retention.
This position will work with managers and leadership to develop mentor programs, educational opportunities for staff and clear career developmental paths and opportunities for staff to pursue.
The position will oversee the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, membership, council activities, charter and action plan and ensures consistent communication and collaboration between the DEI Council, employees at all levels and leadership to accomplish goals.
Responsible for working with leadership to improve communication of campus wide initiatives, programs, employee opportunities, operational changes, etc. to employee’s campus wide and provides mechanism to gather feedback and answer questions.
Works with leadership and employees to identify opportunities for staff at all levels to engage in campus operations in meaningful ways.
Training:
Responsible for evaluating all training curriculum to ensure information and language is in line with supporting a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.
Responsible for evaluating and working with Human Resources to ensure any training or information provided related to personnel policies, programs and benefits is inclusive, meets the needs of all employees and meets state and federal requirements.
Provide strategic direction for training initiatives on cultural competency, gender differences, disability, sexual harassment, building a climate of equity and inclusion, and other topics designed to increase awareness and support of equity and inclusion values, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws in collaboration with Human Resources and CDC leadership.
Salary Grade: GN12
Work Location: Administration
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00a.m.- 5:00p.m.
Recruitment Range: $48,000.00-$62,000.00

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
