Employment Enterprises Inc. is supporting one of the leading providers of transportation services in the DC Metropolitan area. We are searching for an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist with experience in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) rights and EEO Workforce Diversity and Inclusion work as it applies to Title VI and VI I of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Your work is extremely sensitive and highly confidential.
Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist the Office’s professional staff in any aspect of the program administration assigned by the Director, including, but not limited to, equal employment opportunity complaint administration (including preparation of internal and external investigations, and/or hearings before the EEOC)
• Handle alternative dispute resolution, EEO relations matters, Title VI, statistical and/or analytical work on any Office program, and administrative action plans for diversity and inclusion programs.
• Fully conduct non-complex investigations of discrimination made by Metro employees and applicants under the direction of the Director
• Perform complex research and analytical tasks, coordinate and respond to surveys, and prepare presentations needed for both internal and external reviews.
• Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the Office’s databases and maintain the Office’s official files.
• Latitude for independent judgment and action, and may be involved in the development, analysis and recording, reporting, and dissemination of information of a confidential nature.

Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist* Qualifications: *

• Minimum of five (5) years of technical, analytical, and administrative experience in the civil rights area and equal employment opportunity area
• Performance work related to auditing recruitment and hiring process for barriers to equal employment opportunities and upward promotion and other civil rights duties as assigned.
• Experience ensuring compliance with federal equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
