POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the Director Of Operations, the Events Team Leader will perform duties associated with managing events, event staff, equipment logistics and customer relations as well as supervisory duties for “special events.”
This position requires a self-starting, autonomous professional that will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. The ideal candidate can multi-task several complex projects simultaneously while managing administrative functions that support day-to-day operations.
The employee must be a detail-oriented professional with strong business administration skills, a love of spreadsheets, record keeping and precise attention to details. You will need a customer-oriented and team-focused approach.
Many job functions can be accomplished remotely, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and work location. There will be frequent rush deadlines, last-minute changes and a need to “roll up your sleeves” and get the job done.
SCHEDULE
To promote healthy work/life balance, great company culture and employee satisfaction, admin time work schedules are flexible and based on operational needs.
Flexibility- work schedule may vary due to the nature of the business
Weekend work and travel will be required
May-October will require flexibility to work on weekends in order to supervise the event season
November-April will provide a slower season to prepare for the upcoming event season
Compensation:
$50,000-60,000/year salary; Depending on Experience
$1000 – signing bonus, following completion of probationary period (typically 90 days)
$2000 – Relocation assistance, up to $2000 reimbursement with provided receipts of moving expenses, reimbursement made after passing of probationary period. Will be refunded to EMS Unlimited by the employee if employment is terminated for any reason within 24 months from the date of issue.
$0.24 per mile – Mileage reimbursement when traveling greater than 100 miles for the purpose of work related duties. Time spent traveling is not considered “work” hours unless specified otherwise.
Lodging provided at company expense when required
Overtime – Overtime is paid as required by law according to the job being performed
90 Days (after passing the probationary period): Benefits and perks will be made available after passing the 90 day probationary review.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee will perform duties including but not limited to:
Manage and coordinate EMS services to events
Complete estimates and quotes
Finalize Service Agreements
Draft operational plans and oversee execution
Monitor and address staff and client satisfaction
Issue invoices and monitor billing
Conduct business development actions to drive increased capture of market share
Interface and coordinate with EMS Unlimited staff and Event Directors assigned to events
This will require diligent connection with staff to maintain operational efficiency and excitement!
Coordinate with Scheduling to specify needs
Manage and Coordinate day-of-event operations (in person and/or remotely)
Ensure the appropriate medical supplies & gear are arranged for each event
Monitor event operations for safety
Promote team-building and staff recognition
Ensure customers are provided with quality service
Ensure teams are compliant with company standards
Encourage change and systems improvement
Event Team Lead may be assigned collateral duties:
Scheduling – support by communicating with staff to fill open shifts
Training – teach new staff Orientation & Standardization days
Special Projects – assist with special projects as assigned
Complete other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Customer Service experience
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and coordination abilities
Excellent organizational, communication and attention to detail
Experience in logistics coordination, project management
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Experience & Education Requirements
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
High school diploma; BS/BA (preferred)
Certificates & Licenses
Willing to complete EMT and maintain the certification(s) at EMS Unlimited expense
FEMA ICS training 100/200 or willingness to obtain
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
