Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The People Process Coordinator will execute the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including, but not limited to, administering benefits/pay, coordinating/scheduling interviews, on-boarding, posting job requisitions, and enforcing company policies and practices.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource programs including, but not limited to, benefits, compensation, and leave; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
Schedules candidate screenings, interviews, and feedback meetings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications as part of on-boarding.
Runs employee recognition program(s).
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Supports practices to maintain compliance with Federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develops and runs value added HR reports.
Supports payroll with processing wage garnishments, child support, and inputting new hires into HRIS system.
Reviews timecards and relays errors to the local leaders to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Generates and issues offer letters.
Serves as backup for payroll and benefit administrators.
Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
